Choose the student type that best describes you to begin the application process:

• Freshman: It's your first time attending college.
  
  
• Transfer Students: You've previously attended a college or university outside of the USC system.
  
  
• Readmittance: You're a former USC student that has missed a Fall or Spring semester.
  
  
• Non-Degree Seeking or Transient Students: You're only going to be taking a few classes, not pursuing a degree or you are currently enrolled at another institution and want to pick up additional credits. 
  
  
• International Students: You have previous education that was completed outside the United States.
  
  
• Dual Enrollment and Early College Students: You want to take college courses while you are in high school.

Changing your USC System Campus?

To change your campus, log into the online application portal, select "Change of Campus" for your student type and submit a new application. There is no additional application fee required. 

 

Updating your start term?

If you have submitted an application within the last calendar year and would like to change your admissions start term, submit your request here.

Already applied to another USC System campus?

If you have applied to another USC System campus and wish to apply to USC Sumter, log into the online application portal, select the appropriate student type and submit a new application.
