Music For the Public Good
The USC School of Music is proud of our Public Music Initiative. Our students and faculty engage in curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular public education and music outreach activities.
Our Music for Your Life programs connect students and faculty with members of our community of many ages and backgrounds who are seeking to deepen their knowledge of and love for music. Short-term projects with community partners such as the Lourie Center, the South Carolina Department of Corrections, and Oliver Gospel Mission provide further opportunities to meet community needs through music.
